NEW Cricut Iron On Designs at Joanns!

Have you heard?  There are new Cricut Iron On Designs at Joanns!

These are fun new premade designs.  No need to get out your Criut or your Silhouette.  All you need is the Design and the Cricut Easy Press (or you can use your home iron), a t-shirt and boom!  You’ve got a handmade gift!

They have tons of designs.  I took a photo at my local Joanns yesterday.

So easy!  I used one on a tote bag, a mouse pad and a tshirt.  You can even add them to a canvas.  Great to have on hand for those last minute gifts.

The designs shown above are exclusive to Joanns, but Cricut has even more designs available on their website! (Psst… you can use code LORRIE and save 10% and get FREE Shipping).

Drawstring Bag with Cricut and Heat N Bond

Bunny Bag-4-3

Can you believe Easter is almost here?  Wow, the time is flying by!  I decided I needed a few Easter Gift bags and because I love sewing with my Cricut Maker cutting all of the fabric

I made my own drawstring bags.  I posted the one above a few days ago.  I had an enormous amount of requests for a tutorial, so… I made another one.

Bunny Bag-5

This time I wanted to use some non-traditional colors for Easter, so red and blue it is!

I also change the bunny bum from a handmade pom pom to this cute little furry bum!  I used Cricut felt and Thermoweb Heat n Bond to attach the bunny.  He’s so cute in red, don’t you think?

This pattern/design is perfect for all kinds of projects and occasions!

Don’t worry if you don’t have the Cricut Maker,  you can still follow the tutorial and cut it out by hand.  It’s super simple to cut the six rectangles it takes to assemble the bag.

Here’s a step by step tutorial for you.  Oh, and here’s the SVG for bunny (in case you want to make your bag Easter themed).

What DIY projects are you making for Easter?

Felt Flower Wall Hanging with the Cricut!

felt deer-18

I cannot even tell you how excited I was to create this piece!  It’s full of everything I love (glitter, felt flowers and all of my favorite colors)!

I used the Cricut Maker & Heat N Bond to cut most of the flowers.  I just love how crisp and clean cut they are!

Flowers in different shapes, sizes and textures.  Swoon!  They make me happy!
