Sublimation Easter Bunnies – Oh My Goodness!

I am still on the Easter theme this month.  I received these cutie bunnies in the JP PLUS Trend Box . I have been holding on to them for Ace and Evie for Easter.  I know they are going to love these little cuties.  I used the SAWGRASS SG500.  It is so easy to create one of a kind gifts with a sublimation printer and a heat press.

You can purchase the bunnies with shirts and you can purchase extra shirts so that the recipient can switch them out.  Pretty cool.  If  you order the shirts and/or bunnies, be sure and use code 9PSR5 and you’ll save an extra 15%!

Here’s a step by step video tutorial:

Hippity, Hoppidy Easter’s on it’s Way

I found the cutest bunny tote bags at Target. in the Bullseye “Dollar Spot” section. They were only $3 each. I grabbed a couple thinking that the would be perfect to fill with books and candy for Ave and Evie for Easter.

Of course, my first thought was personalization. I used Chroma Luxe software to digitze two simple names. I love that you can use any True Type font on your computer and Chroma will turn it into an embroidery file.

I decided to add a couple of snap tabs just to add a little fun and color. I found the snap tab files at Crashing Waves Designs. She’s got so many cute files.

While I used the Ricoma EM1010 Multi-Needle Embroidery Machine to stitch out my designs, you could also use a single needle machine. If you don’t have an embroidery machine, you could easily do something similar with iron on/heat transfer vinyl.

Here’s the step by step tutorial including digitizing in Chroma.

Cricut Bunny Eggs / Cutting Felt with the Cricut

bunny edgg-17

Good morning and welcome to another Cricut project.  Today, we are using our Cricut to cut felt to create these adorable Easter Egg Bunnies.  Aren’t they the cutest?

I mean c’mon, what’s cuter than 3 little bunny bums?

They are made from Dollar Tree Plastic Eggs.  I filled them with candy.  You can open and close them without disturbing the bunny, which means you can use them as part of your Easter Decor or for baskets year after year.

I created all of the patterns for the felt pieceings in Cricut Design Space.  You can find a link to the file in the video description.

Decorative Ruffle Towel with Cricut and Heat n Bond

Welcome!  I’m so glad you’re here and I’m super excited about today’s project!

Today, we are mixing up some of my favorite things!  First off we are using this GORGEOUS fabric by Riley Blake!  It’s part of a quilt kit available from Cricut.

Aren’t they dreamy!  I LOVE THEM!

Next up we are using my oh, so favorite Cricut Maker, and finally Thermoweb Heat N Bond.

This is a really easy project.   All you need is a towel, fabric, HeatnBond Lite, your Cricut Maker and a sewing machine.  Don’t worry, I’ve got step-by-step instructions for you in the video tutorial below.

Are you ready to make one?  Simply change the fabrics and applique and I think these will be perfect decorations and gifts all year around!

Here’s the tutorial for you!

Drawstring Bag with Cricut and Heat N Bond

Bunny Bag-4-3

Can you believe Easter is almost here?  Wow, the time is flying by!  I decided I needed a few Easter Gift bags and because I love sewing with my Cricut Maker cutting all of the fabric

I made my own drawstring bags.  I posted the one above a few days ago.  I had an enormous amount of requests for a tutorial, so… I made another one.

Bunny Bag-5

This time I wanted to use some non-traditional colors for Easter, so red and blue it is!

I also change the bunny bum from a handmade pom pom to this cute little furry bum!  I used Cricut felt and Thermoweb Heat n Bond to attach the bunny.  He’s so cute in red, don’t you think?

This pattern/design is perfect for all kinds of projects and occasions!

Don’t worry if you don’t have the Cricut Maker,  you can still follow the tutorial and cut it out by hand.  It’s super simple to cut the six rectangles it takes to assemble the bag.

Here’s a step by step tutorial for you.  Oh, and here’s the SVG for bunny (in case you want to make your bag Easter themed).

What DIY projects are you making for Easter?

Bunny Bag with the Cricut Maker and Heat N Bond

I had so much fun sewing this cute little bunny bag.  I needed something easy and fun to put a ittle Easter Gift for Evie in.  I made this fully lined draw string bag out of two fat quarters of fabric.  I used my Cricut Maker to cut the felt bunny which I had lined with Heat n Bond Ultra.  Then I used the Cricut Easy Press to apply the bunny to the bag.

I added a little hot glue to the Pom Pom I made with this pom pom maker and added it to her little bum.

Sometimes the wrapping is as fun as the gift!  I hope to have a tutorial on this soon.

I have made the video tutorial since this post. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/XclukN8Y85Y
