Have you heard the news? The Cricut Mountain Make-A-Thon is just around the corner, next week, infact! I am so excited to head to Utah to teach at this creative event and to meet up with some of my favorite creatives.
The event starts on Monday, July 30 through Wednesday, Aug 1. It takes place at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City. They will be hosting lots and lots of Creative Cricut Classes. I am teaching the Pretty Printables class which is all about the Print then Cut feature in Cricut Design Space.
Last week I had the fun honor of being asked to participate in a series of Podcasts hosted by Stephanie Kendron of Modern Sewciety. The Podcast featured a few of the teachers for the Make-a-Thon event including Melody Lane, Carole Prevost, Debbie O’Neal and myself along with Stephanie. We will all be teaching classes next week. Stephanie regularly hosts podcasts with her sewists community. She is also teaching a class on Podcasting at the Cricut Make-A-Thon event. You can bet, I already signed up!
pssst….. there are still tickets available, so if you’re going to be in the area – you need to be there!
If you’d like to listen to the podcasts, I’ve got them listed below. Be sure and check out Stephanie’s website. This was so much fun!
Here are the podcasts:
Lorrie Nunemaker Melody Lane Carole Prevost Debbie O’Neal
This was my first podcast and, I must admit, it was super fun! Stephanie made it super easy to chat. She asked lots of questions about how we got started doing tutorials, what some of our favorite projects are, what we love about our Cricuts and so much more. You’ll have to listen to each one to find out the answers and get to know a little about the whole podcasting community. I simply cannot wait for her class.
Are you coming to the event? If so, leave me a comment! I’d love to meet you!
I haven’t seen you in a while on a tutorial. I’ve made several place mat bags, I love this idea! Isn’t Cricut offering the monthly mystery box anymore?
I apologize that I have not been posting as much recently. I just finished replacing many of the floors of my home and have been crazy busy trying it to get everything cleaned up and back in to place. I also work a regular full time job and I am leaving this weekend to go teach at the Cricut Makeathon in Utah. I have two more weekends of things i need to do when I return and then I hope to be back to regular posts. The joys of summer. The mystery boxes will be back. Cricut has been updating their website to better be able to handle the mystery box sales.
