Happy Saturday! I have been wanting to get this tutorial up for awhile now. This is a really fun, beginner-friendly sewing project.
I see so many happy hair ties when I am out and about, but they never seem to fit my style, or my wardrope, or let’s be real.. my head! I decided to come up with my own version that includes an stretchy elastic in the back so I can get the perfect fit for this big noggin!
The fun part about this project is that it takes just a very little bit of fabric and 1 piece of elastic. It’s really easy to make and a quick sew. You can make several in an hour. If you have a Cricut Maker, it will go even faster because I’ve got an SVG for you. No Cricut?, No problem. I’ve got the PDF pattern for you as well as a step by step tutorial below.
I hope you give these a try and when you do, please come post in my Facebook Group and/or tag me on Instagram. I would love to see what you make!
