Clear Halloween Tote Bag with GLOW IN THE DARK sticks

First of all, let say, photographing a clear bag and glow in the dark bags are not easy tasks!  However, I was so excited to get this idea posted and shared in time for you to create a few Halloween Bags for the littles before Halloween, that I decided to go with what I had.

Aren’t these fun?!?!  I think Ace and Evie will get a kick out of being able to see their candy in their clear Trick Or Treat Totes, but they will be very excited about the Glow In The Dark feature.

I had this idea the other day to create clear Halloween Tote bags.  I was talking to my friend, Teri, and she mentioned throwing a glow stick in would be a fun addition to the bag and so, the Glow In The Dark – Clear Halloween Tote was created.  I love it!!!

As always, I’ve got a step by step tutorial for you to give you a general idea on how I constructed this bag.  You can adjust the sizes according to your Trick or Treater.

 

Triangle Jelly Pouches

I had an idea in the middle of the night and could hardly wait until it was time to get up so I could give this a shot.  The Triangle Jelly Pouch!

IMG_5633I had so much fun making the fully lined fabric pouches (you can find that tutorial here), that I thought what would be even more fun, than to create a clear version.

I mean, seriously, how cute would these be hanging off a backpack, or even just stuffed with treats.  I would totally use that purple one and fill it with Halloween Goodies for the kids.

You could also make these out of faux leather or vinyl for another look.  Check out one of my favorite shops on Etsy called Sew Hungry Hippie.  She’s got so many fantastic selections of vinyl and faux leather.

You guys!  I have been laying in bed at night dreaming of vinyl bags!  I am having so much fun working with this clear vinyl.  I have an entire series coming up with lots of fun ideas and ways to use it.

Clear Vinyl Bags

Today, we are going to start with this very basic simple pouch.  I think it is super cute and I can think of a million uses.

I used the Cricut to add a bit of fun personalization and I think it takes the cuteness factor over the top!
