the Evie Scrunchie – FREE Pattern Included

IMG_4773

I am back with another Scrunchie tutorial!  Who would have thought that Scrunchies would be back in style!  I am seeing them everywhere and in lots of shapes and sizes.

IMG_4780

I created the EVIE Scrunchie with my grand-daughter in mind, obviously.  I think it is adorable.  I am a sucker for all things bows.

IMG_4778

The beauty of the Scrunchies is that you can mix and match the Urban Scrunchie with the Mini Scrunchie with the Evie Scrunchie.  They all work similarly and together.  I was inspired to make this set from the headband tutorial I showed you last week using the Urban Scrunchie Mini.   I just love the rainbow of color and Evie will have an accessory for every outfit.

I added the solid templates to the shop. You can click HERE the to purchase or just click on SHOP at the top of the page.  As always, I also have a FREE printable PDF and SVG for you as well.  You can find that HERE.

Grab and Go Wristlet – FREE PATTERN

IMG_3547

Hello!  Can you believe it’s almost JULY?  June has flown by!  I have been super busy.  I just got back from the Cricut Meet and Greet in Chicago where we celebrated the launch of the Infusible Inks with Michaels! (More to come on that later).  Today, I am excited to share with you my very own pattern/design which I call the Grab and Go Wristlet!

Wristlet LAN-1

This little cutie is the perfect size for the summer when you just want to take your key, phone and a few necessities without the added bulk of an oversized purse.

Wristlet LAN-1-2

This little cutie actually has quite a lot of room in it and yet, it’s still a clutch size.  I just love the fun colors.  Wristlet LAN-3

You can’t help but be happy when you see Pink Lemons and Palm Trees, right?

Wristlet LAN-4

I designed this bag so that it can easily be converted to a crossbody bag for when you need your hands free for shopping or chasing kids!  (I remember those days :), I actually miss them very much).

Are you ready for a tutorial:  I have a FREE SVG (perfect if you have a Cricut Maker), or you can choose the FREE PDF pattern and cut it by hand.  You can get them by clicking below:

GRAB & GO SVG PATTERN **                     GRAB & GO PDF PATTERN

** For whatever reason, when uploading the SVG to Cricut Design Space, Design Space is resizing it.  Resize the SVG to 23.5″ wide (Keep lock proportions on).  This will create a finished pouch that is approximately 9 x 7.

Here are the step by step video instructions:

Placemat Pouch Version 10! – The Tote

This is going to be a really quick post.  I started the Placemat Pouch Series over a year ago and the response has been overwhelming.  There are now 10 different placemat projects.

Today, I launched the newest member – Version 10 – The Tote.

Placemat 10

I am really happy with how this one turned out and I think the faux leather opens up a bunch of possiblities with the Placemat projects.  I’ve already got a few others lined up.

Let’s make a rope rug!

You guys!  I am so excited and happy about this project!  It was so fun to make and I love the quirkiness of it and the unexpected surprise when you turn it over.  This is made from clothesline rope and some fabric scraps and a little help from my sewing machine and that’s it!

Rope Rug-4I love how amazing this looks from the front, but what I love even more is the backside!  It’s even better than the front, in my opinion.

Rope Rug-10

Look at all of those wonderful fabric scraps and the whimsical look just makes me smile from ear to ear.  Pretty powerful for a rug, don’t you think?  🙂

Rope Rug-16

I made this one originally as a rug, but look how cute it looks as a tablerunner.  You could create coasters, mug rugs, chargers, trivets and any other countless possibilities.

Rope Rug-1

I know you will want to give this a try and guess what?  I’ve got a step by step tutorial for you.  You can’t believe how easy it is!  But, first things first….

Rope Rug-12

I can’t take credit for this wonderfully, unique idea.  Natalie from SewHungyHippie graciously allowed me to share her idea with you.  You should run and check out her site!  She’s got a ton of amazing products like clear vinyl, glitter vinyl, halographic vinyl, faux leathers, patterns, tutorials and so much more!  I found her while searching for vinyl for my clear vinyl series on my Youtube Channel.

So…are you ready for the tutorial?  Here you go!

I have found so many fun materials to use, like this Cricut Faux Leather, or this

yummy pink glitter faux leather.  I mean does it really even get any better than pink glitter?

Luggage tag-6

This one was made with my friend, Teri, in my mind.  Leopard is her family tartan.  She swears it’s true! 😉 . I found this print in the ribbon section at Hobby Lobby.

Luggage tag-7

This one is probaby my favorite! It’s so stinking cute!  It’s more shiny and bright than the others.

Luggage tag-9

Did I mention you can totally use Cricut Iron On with the Cricut EasyPress to personalize?  Maggie is going to love this one!

Want to know the best news?  I’ve got a downloadable PDF pattern for you.  If you have a Cricut, I’ve even got the cut file for you.
