Hello there and thanks for stopping by! I was so happy when I stopped by my local quilt shop and found this beautiful cork fabric! It’s filled with beautiful gold flecks and a dreamy warm natural color. I knew I had to make a few zipper pouches with this lucky find!
I mean, how can you not want to make something fabulous?!? This is a really easy pattern to follow and you can adjust it to any size you like by simply adjusting the beginning sizes.
I added these cool cork zipper tabs to the ends of the zipper for an extra special finishing touch. Yes, I made the zipper pull as well. I drew my logo and then digitized it.
The inside is fully lined and has a pocket.
So, are you ready for the step by step tutorial and pattern?
You asked for more Cricut Sewing projects and you asked for a tutorial showing how to do zipper tabs and how to make a lined zipper pouch… so that’s what’s up on the blog today!
Today, I’m going to share with you how to make this fully lined zipper pouch with zipper tabs. The best part is the Cricut Maker is going to cut all of the pattern pieces out for you, so all you need to do is assemble! Pretty good deal, if you ask me. Oh, did I mention a free SVG pattern?
It’s all set up for you in Design Space, all you need to do is cut it out and the next thing you know, you’ll have this:
Darling little zipper pouches. Perfect to hold your phone, goodies, makeup or whatever little doo-dads you’re trying to keep track of.
They are just the sweetest! I used the Anna Griffin Fabric we got in our goodie bags at the Cricut Mountain MakeaThon, as well as this Garden Girl fabric from Riley Blake. Psst… use code LORRIE and save 10% and get Free Shipping. This project is really fun, and not nearly as intimidating as it may look. Don’t be afraid of the zipper! They are easy!
I see a few Christmas Gifts being made from these fun fabrics! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw all the new collections available at Cricut. (Again.. use my code LORRIE and save 10% and get Free Shipping).
I’ve created a step by step tutorial for you. Let’s make this together!
Hello! I am so happy you are here! I have been super busy with summer activities, but I couldn’t wait to get this fun tutorial up on the blog. How cute is this crazy easy zipper pouch.
I even made a mini version. Everything is cuter when it’s mini… why is that??
This is a lined zipper pouch that I made using the Cricut Maker/Cricut Design Space to make and cut all of the fabric pieces.
I used HeatnBond Adhesive to attach the monogram and HeatnBond Interfacing to give the bag some extra structure. I really love the overall look. Wouldn’t these be cute as bridesmaid gifts or graduation gifts? I can think of a million uses.
Let’s make one together. Here’s a step by step video tutorial. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Cricut – you can follow along and make your pattern on paper and use that as a template. I give you all of the measurements in the video. The products used are listed below the video and in the video description. I can’t wait to see what you make!

Happy Saturday! I wanted to share another idea using my latest pouch tutorial (Version 4). I created this camping bag. I thought it would be really fun to stuff with things like a flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, wet wipes, etc.. I have a lot of friends who enjoy camping and this will make a perfect gift. They can hang it right in their campsite so everyone has all of the necessities right at their fingertips! Cute, right?!!
