Drawstring Bag with Cricut and Heat N Bond

Bunny Bag-4-3

Can you believe Easter is almost here?  Wow, the time is flying by!  I decided I needed a few Easter Gift bags and because I love sewing with my Cricut Maker cutting all of the fabric

I made my own drawstring bags.  I posted the one above a few days ago.  I had an enormous amount of requests for a tutorial, so… I made another one.

This time I wanted to use some non-traditional colors for Easter, so red and blue it is!

I also change the bunny bum from a handmade pom pom to this cute little furry bum!  I used Cricut felt and Thermoweb Heat n Bond to attach the bunny.  He’s so cute in red, don’t you think?

This pattern/design is perfect for all kinds of projects and occasions!

Don’t worry if you don’t have the Cricut Maker,  you can still follow the tutorial and cut it out by hand.  It’s super simple to cut the six rectangles it takes to assemble the bag.

Here’s a step by step tutorial for you.  Oh, and here’s the SVG for bunny (in case you want to make your bag Easter themed).

What DIY projects are you making for Easter?
