Hello! Can you believe it’s almost JULY? June has flown by! I have been super busy. I just got back from the Cricut Meet and Greet in Chicago where we celebrated the launch of the Infusible Inks with Michaels! (More to come on that later). Today, I am excited to share with you my very own pattern/design which I call the Grab and Go Wristlet!
This little cutie is the perfect size for the summer when you just want to take your key, phone and a few necessities without the added bulk of an oversized purse.
This little cutie actually has quite a lot of room in it and yet, it’s still a clutch size. I just love the fun colors.
You can’t help but be happy when you see Pink Lemons and Palm Trees, right?
I designed this bag so that it can easily be converted to a crossbody bag for when you need your hands free for shopping or chasing kids! (I remember those days :), I actually miss them very much).
Are you ready for a tutorial: I have a FREE SVG (perfect if you have a Cricut Maker), or you can choose the FREE PDF pattern and cut it by hand. You can get them by clicking below:
GRAB & GO SVG PATTERN ** GRAB & GO PDF PATTERN
** For whatever reason, when uploading the SVG to Cricut Design Space, Design Space is resizing it. Resize the SVG to 23.5″ wide (Keep lock proportions on). This will create a finished pouch that is approximately 9 x 7.
Here are the step by step video instructions:
Thank You Lorrie for such a beautiful pattern ! I’ve been wanting to make a bag with safe flex but haven’t had a good idea for it until now. I plan to do mine with the tropical prints I’ve been saving for something extra special and this is it!. Can hardly wait to get my Safe Flex fusible fleece and the woven interfacing,!
Thank You for all your tutorials! Janet

What is the size of the pieces, they seem to come into Design Space very small.
See blog post. Due to the recent update to design space the file is getting resized. I have added additional notes to correct.
Lorrie, I used your svg file without even thinking about sizing it. It turned out 5″ wide – too small for me. What size did you make yours?
Unfortunately due to the recent update in design space the file is getting resized when uploaded. I have added notes to the blog post to correct this
I can’t download to my cricut I dot now way
Try re-downloading the svg and then try to upload to design space
really liked this summer pouch thank you
I love all your tutorials but wish along with the free pattern you had written instructions.
I wish I had more time but in addition to a 40 hour a week full time job, being a mom, grandma, dog mom “wife” and my second job – making FREE youtube/blogging/Facebook tutorials, I simply can’t. I would recommend watching the videos and taking notes if you prefer written instructions.
Do I need Dropbox to get your patterns now?
I am moving the freebies to my shop. You do not need dropbox to download from dropbox. Just click the item you want, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner and click download.
